About the course

No prior knowledge of Polish required! Taught by a native-speaking instructor, you’ll build a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a fun, interactive environment with small class sizes to ensure personalized instruction.

Course Details

Schedule: Wednesdays, 7–9 p.m., September 9 – December 16, 2026 (15 sessions)
Location: Polish Combatants’ Hall (SPK), 206 Beverley St., Toronto (at Spadina & College)
Tuition: $495 + HST
Materials: All materials included
Class size: Capped to ensure personalized instruction

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior knowledge of Polish?

Not at all. Our course starts from scratch – no prior knowledge required. Our instructor is a native Polish speaker and the course is designed specifically for complete beginners.

Can I get a refund if I can’t finish the course?

If you can’t complete the course, please contact us at learnpolish@spk20.ca and we’ll do our best to work something out.

Is there an online option?

Currently the course is offered in person only. The interactive, small-group format is central to how we teach, and we’ve found students make much faster progress learning together in the same room.

Is there homework?

The course package includes a workbook with practice exercises and activities that can be done at home. It’s designed to reinforce what you learn in class and can be done at your own pace between sessions.

Can I drop in for individual classes?

Unfortunately we do not offer individual drop-in classes. Each session builds on the previous one to ensure consistent progress.
